welcome to glenbrook, where rainforest meets you in stillness.
Welcome to Glenbrook Ewingsdale, a sanctuary held by the rainforest and the gentle hum of nature. Set on 2.5 acres of lush hinterland just minutes from Byron Bay, this property offers a peaceful refuge, a place to rest, reconnect, and return to what truly matters.

a place the earth made for stillness
Glenbrook wasn’t built to be a retreat, but somehow the land decided that’s what it wanted to be. With its own arboretum that is home to more than 200 unique native trees, open green spaces, and quiet rainforest paths, there’s a natural rhythm here that invites stillness and renewal. It’s a space where people come to slow down, breathe deeply, and find clarity, whether through ceremony, community, creativity, or simply time alone in nature. The property holds many places to unwind, a resort style pool, infrared sauna, ice bath, and hot spa, as well as soft lawns and shaded corners perfect for rest or reflection. The accommodation feels warm and homely, with private and shared rooms surrounded by gardens and birdsong, each space designed to hold you gently, without distraction.
WHAT WE OFFER
a place to gather, grow & come home to stillness
At Glenbrook, every gathering is held by nature’s embrace. Whether you’re hosting a retreat, facilitating a workshop, or planning a conscious corporate event, the land provides the perfect balance of privacy, inspiration, and calm. Our offerings are designed to support connection, creativity, and restoration, for groups who seek depth, purpose, and presence in their time together.

a place that reminds you of your own rhythm
What makes Glenbrook special isn’t just the beauty of the land, but the feeling it evokes, of being welcomed, grounded, and reminded of your own natural rhythm. Over time, it has become a beloved gathering place for retreats, workshops, and soulful events, where transformation unfolds in its own quiet way.

Come and experience the stillness. Let the land hold you.
where vision, heart, and nature come together in harmony.
At the heart of Glenbrook Ewingsdale are Dunja and Theodore Vairaktaris, a couple who share a deep love for nature, community and conscious living. Together, they have nurtured this property into a sanctuary where people can gather, restore, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Together, Dunja and Theodore hold Glenbrook as a living sanctuary, a place where structure and spirit meet, and where others can find rest, renewal, and inspiration. Once a beloved family home, Glenbrook has evolved into a haven for retreats, workshops, and conscious gatherings, a space where nature supports healing and human connection unfolds with ease.
